Arts and Health

Artist Amy Hield worked with participants from Activities Resource Centre (ARC) to use art as a way of raising awareness of basic health issues.

A series of 9 sessions, funded by the Community Health Action Project, saw the artist, health worker, young mums and single parents working together to discuss health issues and create artwork to spread positive health messages.

From the artwork a set of 5 postcards were created which have been used by Bradford District Health Trainers to spread the health messages even further.
